You have been drowning in pepernoten for months and on the radio, George Michael is once again reminiscing about that Christmas he gave his heart away: it’s November! That means you could do with a handy bag for your Christmas shopping. The new Dopper Shopper – a unique designer bag with a special compartment for your Dopper – does more than hold your latest purchases, it contributes to rebuilding Nepal.
Nepal suffered a terrible earthquake less than six months ago. The damage is nowhere near being repaired. That is why the entire profits* from the Dopper Shopper go to Dopper projects in this country devastated by earthquakes. By buying a Dopper Shopper, you purify 10 litres of drinking water, you provide advice on the importance of clean water, you install quakeproof water supply pipes, you dig a new well, and you turn heads at the same time.
The Dopper Shopper is a Dutch design, made from recycled clothing remnants. Not only is it highly sustainable, it is stylish too. The different types of clothing are still clearly visible and give the bag an urban industrial feel. In addition, the Dopper Shopper is produced in a Dutch I-did sewing studio where people without employment receive free training.
The Dopper Shopper will be available in our webshop and at the WAAR shops from 24 November.
