Surprised by the news that your latest fashion accessory contains lead? We’re not.

Let me explain (yes, it's slightly technical, but worth it). 🧐

Every insulated bottle, like ours, needs a pellet to seal the vacuum chamber at the bottom. This pellet is a tiny glass bead that's melted inside an oven to cover the pin hole where the vacuum is drawn.

Now, some bottle brands use leaded glass due to its lower melting point (800°C vs 1100°C for lead-free glass), making the process faster (and thus cheaper).

Not us. We've chosen another path. We use lead-free glass; it may take a bit more time, but the result is a bottle that is safe, durable, and free from harmful contaminants.

Lead-Free, Worry-free

Another problem is, once you go lead, you can never go back. Your oven is contaminated, and you can never use it for any lead-free process in future.

When we embarked on our Insulated bottle adventure in 2017, we picked a new factory with a pristine production line. We were determined to steer clear of lead. No shortcuts, no compromises.

So, rest assured, we’ve never dabbled in lead, and neither has our supplying partner. 💪🏽🌟
